Design Statement:

CaBEARet is a once a semester fundraiser that the students in the Musical Theatre Concentration put on at Baylor. It's an accumulation of songs from different shows that they all sing. This year's theme was 1950's Suburbia and my concept centered around the idea that everything is perfect and warm, but things aren't always as they appear. Through the show there was a progression with the songs leading from smiling and happy to concerned and scared. I wanted to make the  lighting follow that transition from warm to cold and isolated.
