Design Statement:
We Women was a devised piece by a guest director at Baylor University. The concept of the show was to dive deep into what it means to be a woman in today's society and how different women are from each other. For this show I wanted to use traditionally feminine colors, like pink and purple, and traditionally masculine colors, like blue, to support the shows overall theme of challenging traditional femininity. I used backlight and specials to help isolate the actors for different scenes to create separation between them.
